The movie "The Shawshank Redemption" is considered a classic and a must see, and you are actually able to see the reasons to it after and even while you are watching it.
This movie has an ambient that is just rare and hard to find in any other movies nowadays, but as well the excitement of the movie ends with it. This is not a movie you end up talking about with your friends for weeks passionately and at least in my opinion I didn't feel like I was watching the best movie that there is out there.
I really don't know how to express myself properly or at least I feel like it, so this isn't easy to write, I think that the level of excitement about a movie depends on the personal disaster that there is inside everybody's head and how much a person identifies with a character or a piece of the story-line of a movie and a reason of why this movie had so much success it's because it accomplished to manage a very wide range of deep personalities in it's characters so this made plenty of people feel somehow connected with at least one of them.

I watch it every time its on. I love this movie

I like that in a way, this scene comes full circle. Hadley beats a prisoner for sobbing controllably from fear, then years later he himself gets his comuppence and is imprisoned/ executed, and like the poor guy he beat to death, finally feels the same fear, sobbing uncontrollably as Red mentions. Great movie! Sam is the best. How and why Morgan Freeman has not won a Oscar still shocks me. One of the best actors ever. Whenever in a movie a guard says open that cell you know shit is about to go down. 2:58 Goddayum l. I'm sure at first you were laughing and at last you are having tears of aggression. This scene makes everyone deeply involved watching The Shawshank for the first time...

The only criticism for this video is the extremely annoying commentator. 😬

The music, the story, and the message are phenomenal in Rita Hayworth - avain pakoon. I know forest gump is good but Ive always said Shawshank deserved the Oscar.
